As the title states, my first machine! I kept reading that no one wants the 4x4 for long, the single needle, or the stationary arm. It quickly jumped up in price where I was starting in the 8k range.

Then a trusted friend told me her first machine was the babylock array. I know babylock is a trusted brand, so that’s a huge plus. The resale would be better if I have a change of heart. The wireless functionality is nice too.

Is it worth the price jump, (8k to about 12k) for a brand name? Are there other standout features that the babylock offers that I haven’t thought of?
