Health history questionnaires

I was wondering how people feel about including trans-related health (hormones and/or surgery) in general health history questionnaires. For example, going to the dentist and having to list medications and past surgeries.

I know as transmedicalists, we consider being trans a medical issue, but I can't deny that I hate all the stigma and weird interactions that comes with outing myself as trans, listing medicine and procedures that have nothing to do with dental care. Would I pose risk to myself if I just left out this information, at least just for the dentist?

Feeling thankful (and maybe a bit righteous)

I had top surgery this year and feeling thankful for it. Being able to get surgery is a privilege, and I know that so many people want and deserve it but are unable to for all kinds of reasons. I get it. I've been out as trans for over half my life and only now have I been able to get surgery. It's been a pretty awful ride trying to get to this point if I'm to be honest.

I don't think I'll ever truly feel home in my body since I am not and never will be a cis male, but at least this is something. Knowing there are non-dysphoric "trans" people who don't want surgery or hormones to help with dysphoria at all, getting surgery feels like a solid declaration and assuredness that this is a real thing and not some trendy phase.

I've also been on testosterone for almost a decade now too. I'm stealth and hope my scars fade to a point that I could truly be passable without my shirt someday.
