Daughter wanted a fruit tart and I can’t say no

Pastry cream finally held up when cutting into it. Yellow raspberries straight from the garden. Bottom layer is a cherry compote made from some fresh rainier cherries and the crust is a Thomas Keller recipe that can’t be beat.

Garmin or Suunto (or something else)?

Looking for a smart watch mainly for running but also want something with a good GPS for hiking and maps if possible. Was looking at the Forerunner 255 or the Suunto Race S. I really like all of the running features the 255 offers and it being a Garmin, I know it will seamless my connect to my phone and other apps. It seems like the Suunto is better for hiking while maintaining all of the running and training capabilities of the Garmin, but I’m wondering about compatibility with apps and the brand in general. Is there maybe something else that I should consider here? Interested to hear some thoughts.
