I have a 2014 Trek Fuel Ex 7 that's bit the dust and it feels wasteful to throw it in the trash. I used this as a buddy bike for 10 years but the rear shock is totally blown out, needs new tires, and the cost to get it back up and running is just not worth it. I can't imagine I could sell it. Do bike shops have interest in stuff like this? Maybe a local bike guys could use the parts? Curious if anyone has found a way to recycle or donate an outdated, unrideable bike.

I didn't know these were installed. They're widespread in CO but not sure if it was approved at the state or local levels.
