My name’s Mikey, I’m the English Voice Actor for Miura Takayoshi.
>!Following the conclusion of Miura’s story,!< I wanted to drop in and share a heartfelt “Thank you!” to this community. I’ve been actively reading the subreddit since the day I was cast. As we wait for the Manga to arrive in English, I on-boarded chapter summaries and character bios I could find online — but all your thoughts and discussions were instrumental in informing some of the choices I got to make with the director in the booth.
Thank you so much for supporting Liar Game. The Manga, Drama and Anime. Thank you so much for supporting the Dub and cheering us on! Thank you so much for the kind words you shared about my very first named character in an anime. You have no idea how much your encouragement meant to me.
I’m so excited to see what comes next for the show as Nao continues to grow. I am so excited to watch both the Seiyu and my fellow cast-mates in the dub continue to breathe life into these characters.
Please know that everyone on the American side is working so hard to make the best show possible.
James’ scripts have been superb.
Jeremy’s direction and casting is thoughtful, heartfelt and always puts your enjoyment front and centre.
August and the other engineers work actual magic to transpose the performances to the characters.
Ben, Michael and the other assistant directors keep the spirit of the show running around the clock.
The mix engineers, talent co-ordinators, translators and everyone else behind the scenes are all doing their absolute best to make sure that you get the most faithful and enjoyable version of the show possible.
