I’m a freshman civil engineering major who was aiming to land an internship this summer! I applied online to three internships but did a lot of in person networking at my schools career fair and club dinners while trying to use my enthusiasm, research, and age to my advantage. No previous experience, no projects, some programing and self-taught CAD. Only jobs were in manager level food service but used that to show problem solving and customer service/teamwork. Hopefully this summer goes well and I can learn from those around me! I also hope many of yall were able to get their internships!

Rhode is our incredible puppy who has brought so much joy into our lives. Just a few months ago, she lost her other sister, Nory, due to a tumor, so she's been especially close to us ever since.

Last night, Rhode became very ill with sudden diarrhea, vomiting, lethargy, and even lost consciousness. She's only 11 months old and has never had any health issues before, so this has been a frightening and overwhelming experience for us. The veterinarians have recommended urgent treatment and multiple days of hospitalization, as she's in critical condition to give her the best chance at recovery. The costs for her care are more than we can manage on our own, especially as the likelihood of her requiring surgery is very high.

As a college student and with my fiancée working part-time at a school, these unexpected expenses are too much for us to cover.

Any support you can give would mean the world to us.
