3rd attempt. Omega Seamaster diver 300

  1. Dealer name: Ethan
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Omega Seamaster Diver 300m. STZ001159
  4. Price Paid: 380
  5. Album Links: https://www.wsxcme.com/weshop/goods/\_diBqfB\_6K0Fni6Viqy3qjRnYcVlHlv\_RP68U2bQ/\_djjqf61w5-fExAcgdnHgSHQ245FKOc9tnhAjIYw
  6. Index alignment: markers seem well aligned. Clear, with sharp edges and appear straight. Possible slight cw at 3 o’clock. Pip seems properly centered.
  7. Dial Printing: writing is clear and straight. “Swiss made” is centered properly between markers.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: date appears to be centered well. Possibly a touch high, but my eyes are by no means expert. Unable to determine with single disgust date in pics provided.
  9. Hand Alignment: hands appear straight and sharp. Markers on hands seem to be correct. Lume appears to be positioned correctly on arms.
  10. Bezel: no scratches or brushing. Markings seem correct and spacing is uniform on minute markers. Shape seems correct.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): n/a
  12. Timegrapher numbers: within specifications
  13. Anything else you notice: my eyes are by no means expert. Also my computer skills are horrible apparently, as I’ve posted this 3x and screwed up format each time. Lume seems duller on one side but unk if that’s due to flash in the picture. Lume does appear to be in correct places.

Thank you in advance for expert insight.

Looking to see whether I should GL or not.

Was curious…

I don’t want to break any rules here. I’m familiar with the format for QC on a watch, but I’d there a way to QC a watch on a purchase not thru a TD, but rather from an owner?

Abandonment of slab lines

I live in Suffolk county Long Island and I’m on a slab. I’ve had 3 slab leaks over the last 5 yrs. Obviously had to get the lines dug up and replace all flooring/trim afterwards. Not cheap, and that’s doing trim and flooring myself. I’d rather not mess with plumbing. I know what I’m good at and what I’m not.

So I currently have another leak and have been thinking about abandoning my slab lines and running pex lines through the attic, between the floor joists and tapping in to the existing piping between my two downstairs bathrooms (they share a wall).

Most recent quote I got included tapping in at the main, running approximately 80’ of pex (equal amount hot and cold) up into my attic, across the attic floor and into the void between the floor joists and dropping down between my two downstairs bathrooms, feeding the existing in home lines servicing the rest of the house; upstairs included.

The pex with be insulated and boxed/trimmed in so as to not be lying on the attic floor. Brass connections, not plastic shark bite. Repairing demo of downstairs bathroom wall, replacing vanity, mirror, lighting etc. repairing Sheetrock and bringing it to paint.

  6. Index alignment: hour markers look good. 3 o’clock may be at a slight cant but it’s hard to tell in the pictures. All markers seem to be centered pretty well.
  7. Dial Printing: printing seems clear. “Swiss” and “made” seem fairly centered in space.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: in pictures shown, “5” seems centered well. Unknown how double digits will look but appears centered in pic shown.
  9. Hand Alignment: hands appear well done. Spacing in the pic with the lume seem well done
  10. Bezel: scratch free. Hour and minute markers seem uniform in size and lume
  11. Solid End Links (SELs):unable to determine in provided pictures
  12. Timegrapher numbers: within specifications
  13. Anything else you notice: not familiar enough with movement to determine how well it’s done. Any help in that matter are greatly appreciated.

Was wondering if this is a GL or RL.

Thank you folks.
