ARF SUBMARINER DATE QC- PLEASE SOME HELP

2.FACTORY NAME: arf

  1. MODEL NAME: Rolex Sub date

4.PRICE PAID: USD 393,5 (shipping/insurance included)

5.ALBUM LINK: https://imgur.com/a/uP2XIrG

6.INDEX ALIGNMENT: Alignment seems to be quite solid to me

7.DIAL PRINTING: it looks good, any issues that i can clearly see on it, seems crisp and centered, I ONLY HAVE a big doubt about the engraved written "rolex" on the rehaut between 6 and 9, looking not aligned at all. That is the reason why i think i'll go for a RL this time;

  1. DATE WHEELALIGNMENT: it looks ok to me

9.HAND ALIGNMENT: they look correct

  1. BEZEL: it looks to have the correct shape and the numbers on it seem to be correctly and clearly engraved

  2. SOLID END LINKS: look fine to me

  3. TIMEGRAPHER NUMBERS: according to what i "learned" on the dedicated post on reddit, it seems to me that there are no major problems

  4. Any other thoughts or issues? I think i should go for a RL because of the engraving not aligned on rehaut. I am going to give this watch as a gift to a friend of mine who was very impressed by my first rep i bought at the end of april (a VSF OP 41 green dial) and really don't want to give him a watch that i wouldn't take for myself! i'll be really grateful for any further opinion on it. Thnks a lot

VSF 124060 Submariner NoDate from TOW

  1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches / Steve
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Submariner 124060 No Date VS3230
  4. Price Paid: $528 + $30 shipping
  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/cJ5ojUa
  6. Index alignment: Overall looking solid. Triangle, rectangles, and circular markers all appear properly aligned with no obvious rotation issues. 6 and 9 also look straight.
  7. Dial Printing: Printing looks clean and centered. Coronet placement and text spacing seem good from the straight-on shots.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
  9. Hand Alignment: Hands appear properly aligned with no visible clearance concerns.
  10. Bezel: Pip looks centered and bezel alignment appears clean overall. Numerals and hash alignment also look good to me.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): SELs appear tight from the provided angles with no major gaps standing out.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +7s/d, amp 270-276, beat error 0.2ms. Numbers seem healthy and comfortably within acceptable range.
  13. Anything else you notice: Mainly looking for a second set of eyes before GL. Nothing major is jumping out at me from a QC perspective and overall this seems like a pretty clean example. Aware that VSF Subs aren’t as perfect under macro scrutiny as they are made out to be, so mainly checking for anything obvious I may have overlooked. If you force me to be pedantic at gunpoint, perhaps the only issue is that the lume seems to have been hammered into place (esp 1, 2, 10, 11) which has dented their edges. Unless folks here suggest otherwise, I’m happy to skip such microanalysis.

QC VSF 124060 TOW (STEVE)

  1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches (Steve)
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Submariner 124060LN
  4. Price Paid: $528
  5. Album Links: https://mega.nz/folder/zY4GTDzS#XThDAe4fyMJcpOfEvNhF_Q
  6. Index alignment: Looks good to me. The 3 and 9 batons look level, and the 6 looks straight
  7. Dial Printing: Crisp and clean
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks okay
  10. Bezel: Ceramic insert looks good and the pip looks centered. I noticed the actual steel outer teeth of the bezel don't perfectly line up with the minute track/pip at 12 though
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks okay, maybe only a tiny gap on top right
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +3s/d, Amp: 269, Beat Error: 0.2ms. Within specs
  13. Anything else you notice: Rehaut alignment also looks good. Leaning toward GL but would love an extra pair of eyes on the bezel teeth, SEL, and anything else I might have missed! Appreciate the help folks!

2nd QC - Feedback Needed

Hello All,

2nd post after RL the first one from Andrew. It doesn’t seem that this second one has addressed the original reason for RL, and in fact may be inferior. This is new territory for me. Any help would be appreciated!

Dealer name: Andrew (TrustyTime)

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): ROLSUB0367 - Submariner 114060LN No Date 904

Price Paid: $448 with shipping

  1. Index alignment - Nothing obvious, looks clear and well aligned
  2. Date Wheel alignment - N/A
  3. Bezel - 3 and 9 look slightly rotated CCW...within acceptable tolerance?...at least I think so, but would appreciate feedback.
  4. Solid End Links (SEL) - possible gap on the top left?
  5. Hand alignment - No issues founds
  6. Dial Printing - I don’t see any improvement with the"Swiss Made" being too close to the 6 index? This was the reason I RL the first one. RL again?
  7. Timegrapher numbers - concerned that the -7 seconds is on the higher end but more worried that the amplitude is on the low side. Thoughts?
  8. Anything else you see - Will ask for an additional picture to confirm alignment of the 12 bezel and dial. The rehaut also looks misaligned

First Rep/QC Post: VSF Seamaster 300 007 On Her Magesty's Secret Service. GL?

  1. Dealer name: Steve (The One Watches)
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Semaster 300m James Bond 007 SS/SS Black Dial VSF VS8800
  4. Price Paid: $408
  5. Album Links: Photos attached
  6. Index alignment: Looks very good to me, any missalignment seems to come from the picture angle and how he's holding the watch. The 6 o'clock "block" seems to be very slightly off centered to the left. 12 o'clock seems to be very little rotated clockwise.
  7. Dial Printing: I think it’s great, even has the little hidden 50 at 10 o'clock from this special edition
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks great, centered, and from the video jumps right at midnight
  9. Hand Alignment: seems goos
  10. Bezel: Looks good
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Doesn't appear to be any gaps
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +3, seems good.
  13. Anything else you notice: Everything seems fine to me

I think, giving the known SMP alignment issues i've gotten very lucky with this one, even the blueish dial tone issue of this one seems to be solved. Looks crisp to me, do you see any reason why I shouldn't GL? Thank you all in advance

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: n/a
  9. Hand Alignment: looks good
  10. Solid End Links (SELs): they look good. No issues

1st QC | Andiot | VSF Submariner 124060

  1. Dealer name: Andiot
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): 124060 Submariner 41mm No Date
  4. Price Paid: £306 + Shipping
  5. Album Links: https://imgbox.com/g/6RdkXBdMKg (Had to separate from original album as ordered two watches)
  6. Index alignment: Initially, 9 index looks slightly tilted downward on the inside, but when checked against the alignment tool, the 3 & 9 have similar amount of white space above the line, so could be the reflection on the chrome accents.
  7. Dial Printing: Seems acceptable, all lines of text look straight, no major floating letters, other than the M, which I can live with.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
  9. Hand Alignment: No issues.
  10. Bezel: Probably the weirdest part, the nine marker appears off axis, maybe one more click of the bezel would fix this as the 12 marker is slightly CCW off centre. Or could just be the angle, as it doesn’t appear as extreme in the other images.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Top seem good, bottom right may have a slight gap but no light visible.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Rate -1s/d, Amp 280, B.E 0.3ms, 52.0 LA and beat 28800.
  13. Anything else you notice: Crown on the rehaut looks aligned from what I can see. Bracelet looks fine, video provided of easylink working as intended etc.

This is my first ever rep so any help would be greatly appreciated. First impression is I think I could accept the indexes but the bezel is concerning.

1st Image with QC tool, 2nd same image as sent, 3rd same image slightly fixed in Lightroom for tilt.

Andiot - Submariner 124060 (VSF)

Dealer name: Andiot

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): 124060

Price Paid: $446

Album Links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/238969842?uid=1

Index alignment: I feel like the 6 is not fully aligned but it could just be me being paranoid

Dial Printing: Looks good to me

Hand Alignment: Looks good in the video shared

Bezel: Looks great

Solid End Links (SELs): I don’t see any gaps or light in the videos shared

Timegrapher: Came back at around -1 s/d, 273 amplitude, and 0.2ms beat error

Anything else you notice: My only concern is the floating “m” which seems a bit noticeable. Also wondering if the 6 marker is ever so slightly off-center or if I’m just being paranoid. Would appreciate opinions from people more experienced with VSF Subs and whether this is GL-worthy compared to recent batches.
