Seeking help creating an arm of petals
I am currently making my first cosplay and while i'm excited and having fun, i've run into a snag. It's from a video game called Expedition 33.
I have an arm warmer that goes from my wrist up to my shoulder, and i'm hoping to find a way to be able to cover it with these papier-mâché rose petals that I have a ton of. I've been fabric gluing them to the shirt, pants, and shoes without any real issue.
However the arm band is elastic and i'm very unsure if it's possible to do it the same way. I was thinking of stretching the fabric over my arm and then gluing them on, but am concerned that when i take it off and it shrinks that will somehow crunch it up and they'll fall off.
I ended up filling up one of the arm warmers with plastic bags to try to get roughly the right shape / size.
Sorry for ramble, i'm completely new to this and trying to figure it out as I go, but I'm really curious if i'm wasting my time and some materials. Or if anyone has any better ideas on how to go about this.
