With this years property tax increase PLUS a huge increase in the sanitation fee, I decided to create a table to compare the total recurring financial burden of residents in Red Bank vs surrounding cities.

Since Red Bank charges their sanitation fee separately(opposed to several other cities including it in their property taxes) it disproportionately adds more of a financial burden to lower-valued homes.

As you can see in the charts, with the recent combined increase of both property taxes and sanitation fee, Red Bank residents pay the second highest total annual property tax + recurring municipal fees in all of Hamilton Co(city of Chattanooga is highest, but also has more benefits like curbside recycling).
