Anybody know anything about Heidelberg Materials NorthEast LLC?
I have had my own authority for almost 4 years now, and finally got a contract offer locally, 5 days a week, both 1 way and/or round trip, with a 2 month term. This company is only a little over a year old but show decent compliance on safer as well as around 200 trucks and drivers. I don’t to do work for them only to end up in a moneyless years long legal battle like some of the absolute nightmares I’ve heard about happening to some of our fellow carriers. Also, and just as importantly, for me anyway, if of you have personal experience with contract carrier agreements and maximizing potential profits or with avoiding traps, tricks, cons and snares, I would greatly appreciate any and all help, advice personal experiences, stories, understanding and/or looking out for certain contract terms, or personal but effective ways to reasonably negotiate terms without high or obvious likelyihood to offend them and maybe even lose the chance of them wanting me signed to it of course, also any other strategies, or beneficial angle to stand out for the right reasons and not just another sucker they are about to bleed for months
