Here’s my 74 year old dad at his first harvest. We tag team it - he’s in a legal state and I’m not. We FaceTime almost everyday and my mom says he loves it. We got him the lab jacket and tie dyed it for Father’s Day and she says he tries to wear it out.

Next grow, the third generation is getting involved. Growing cannabis is bringing our family closer together!

I’ve been struggling with time passing and getting older but I wasn’t prepared when I realized I was in the basement of the house I grew up in, drying cannabis with my dad. I think it’s really one of the more memorable moments in my life. If I could time travel back to 1996 and tell myself in 30 years Dad and I would be growing together… well the Butterfly Effect could get wild.

The yo-yo hangers frustrate me trying to set up lights so I thought I’d share a couple hacks I use.

To set light height I took Budtrainer soft tie and cut to length. Wrapped a bolt for mass at one end and got a magnetic hook for the other end (can’t find a magnetic spot on the light so I mounted to the yo-yo carabiner.

For leveling the light I bought small bubble balances ($4.99 for six) and use to level out.

Anyone have anything for centering / squaring the hanger bar and the ropes to the hanger?

Lucy is a Hindu Kush starting day 3 of flower. Grown from a Barneys seed starting in an AC Infinity propagation dome.

Currently in a SF 2x2 with a G1500 light, 4 inch fan, Glow40 side canopy lights and oscillating fans. Growing in Happy Frog + perlite, GH Flora and cal-mag being fed in an AC Infinity sip, top fed weekly with Recharge. Using a trellis to scrog.

This is my first grow… so far I’m pretty pleased with how her trunk has developed and a reasonably flat canopy. Planning to defoliate in two weeks. I’m hoping to get 4 quality ounces from her 💜

Hindu Kush from a Barney’s seed at day 23. Using Happy Frog and perlite, no nutrients besides cal mag and recharge - will start GH Flora in a week. Topped once and started some light LST this week. Set the trellis while had room…

Gear is a G1500 with Glow30 side lights in a 2x2. Starting self watering bases while I’m out west this week.

So far I think we are looking good?

I’ve got this Hindu Kush going in my 2x2, and Zoap, Blueberry, Gorilla Purple and Dirty Mimosa in the 4x4.

Thinking about the next run… anyone got recommendations? Anything you’ve run that I should?
