Hi -

I have these three electric Timex watches that all take a Timex Type C battery. I bought 393/309 as replacements, but they do not start running with the new batteries installed. Is there a trick or step to the replacement that I am missing? Is there a ground with tweezers or some such?? Thanks in advance for replies and advice. Have a great day.

Does anybody else remember getting an application for death or dismemberment that was offered each year in gradeschool. I distinctly remember the payouts were for things like losing an eye, or losing a finger, and also a death benefit. It was a few dollars for coverage. Hope I'm not hallucinating, but I have this memory.
