I’d like some advice about playing accordion as a long time guitar player.  I’ve been learning accordion for almost two years, and have found that since I primarily play a stringed instrument, the fingers on my left hand have thick calluses, deadening the sense of touch on those fingertips.  This makes it difficult for me to find the indented buttons on the left hand side of the accordion so as to locate the correct notes and chords.  Have any other stringed instrument players found a way to deal with this issue when playing accordion?
