I have a 2001 convertible that I’m planning on swapping out the stock radio for a double din and use the axxess interface to work with my stock Bose system. I plan on replacing the rear speakers, but now I’m wondering if I just do a full audio replacement, remove the Bose system and do a full upgrade.

If I did a full upgrade, any insights into what size door speakers would be best? I don’t want to run a sub or anything, just upgrade the 25 year old sound system. Anyone who’s done a full replacement, any issues you ran into during the process?
