I have this amaryllis that has bloomed 4 or so times over the past 6 months. The longest leaves are getting to be 3 feet long. I may be moving soon and I want to know if I can/should trim some of these longer leaves.

Different types of scoby pellicle??

Hey I’ve noticed I get a few different types of pellicle growing in my scoby. Do any of yall know what these different pellicles contain? I assume the dark brown one is more yeast (maybe dead yeast). I’m not sure what the difference is between the thin and the thick lines that are lighter in color in terms of bacteria and yeast content.
