Proud moment as someone who started knitting in Feb 2025. I was recently enjoying some sushi (which I often do) and thought I wonder if anyone has designed a cute sushi sock knitting pattern? And when I searched I really couldn't find what I was looking for, so I set out try to to design my own.

I loved how it turned out and felt like others might love them too. So here I am about 10-12 weeks later having gone through testing, grading and tech edit with my little creation.

I hope these fun socks can put a smile on some faces, even if the design is not really your thing (I know it's going to be a bit niche).

I also apologise if I haven't done the correct flair/tags in view of this being my own pattern. I couldn't see the 'Designer FO' flair that was suggested in group rules.

Hello, I am close to finishing this pattern for my son and am planning to duplicate stitch on the feet, antennae and face features.

I’ve only done intarsia a couple of times and never with duplicate stitch over the top. I am wondering if it is best to weave in the ends first?

I am assuming that will work better but want to make sure that’s the best option.
