C3 radar error

I've had the C3 for a couple of years and it's been working great in my 2022 Prius Prime. A couple of weeks ago it started occasionally alerting for a radar malfunction. Sometimes this happens right away, sometimes it happens many minutes, sometimes a couple of hours after starting when on a long trip. Stopping and restarting the car sometimes fixes it but not always, same with rebooting just the C3. The interesting part is when it happens, it drops the longitudinal control, but it doesn't stop steering control (I am running Sunnypilot and have it set to always have lateral control enabled even if longitudinal control isn't engaged.)

Has anyone experienced this? Some googling and searching here points to it maybe being the USB(OBD)-C cable that may need to be replaced, but since lateral control isn't dropping I'm not confident that ordering a new cable would be the fix. I have not had the time to unplug the harness to confirm that the radar cruise still functions properly with the stock Toyota TSS, but that is probably my next step before ordering the cable. I just wanted to see if anyone else has run into this and may have some advice to make it easier to troubleshoot the issue.

Folgers decaf in Delonghi Magnifica Plus?

I know, this is probably sacrilege to people here, but has anyone had any experience using run of the mill Folgers ground decaf through the pre-ground chute on the Magnifica Plus? I have a good portion of them left and I'd hate to throw them out, only to have to buy something different for the occasional decaf drink. I tried making an americano with them and it was so insanely weak (to be expected) when I used a single scoop as the manual suggested. I've seen mixed info when I did a Google search, with some people saying 1 is the max, never go over it, and others saying more than one scoop is fine.

Has anyone successfully been able to get a passable drink using Folgers decaf? I'm not even looking for perfection, just something drinkable. How much coffee can really be used? The puck that comes out from the normal bean grinding process has more grounds than the scoop size, so my guess is at least 2 scoops should be OK. What is the cleaning process if too much is used if I try to experiment? I appreciate any input.
