Interest rate for Direct Unsubsidized Loans will likely come with an 8.07% interest rate next year, compared with the current 7.94%.

The rates, which run from July 1 to June 30 of the following year, are based in part on the May auction of the 10-year Treasury Note. If the 10-year Treasury Note auction were to be held this week, instead of last Tuesday, you'd be looking at 8.27% interest rate 😀 What a difference a week makes!
