Color Treated Hair Question - Couldn't find an answer with search

Hi all. Some of the products AY recommends don't specify that they are safe for color treated hair when reading the details of the product (ex. some of the Dove products). Do we think they are color safe even if it doesn't specifically say it? I know she says she colors her hair so I'm hoping it's safe to assume but at the same time I don't want to ruin my color.

Advice / Maybe I need a specific product?

I have bra strap length hair. It's fine but I have a decent amount of it (The roots of my hair take forever to dry). I'm guessing it's medium density? I get highlights since I'm 49 and my roots come in grey. If I keep my hair dark I'm going ALL the time for touchups. With the highlights I get more time between.

Anyways. I've recently become obsessed with trying to get my hair to feel more silky and shiny. It's not awful but it's not what it used to be. In this pic you can see it's just kind of meh....

I started watching a bunch of Abbey Yung stuff and I'm trying to personalize it for me. For any kind of oils, heat protectants, conditioners etc she only does from the jawline down. Last night I washed my hair. Let it air dry for awhile then rough dried it on the lowest heat so I didn't go to bed with wet hair (and I'm trying to not heat style all the time). That said, I could see some breakage and frizz on the top part of my hair above the jawline.

How in the heck do I fix that without weighing my hair down AND how do I fix it if I'm only supposed to put shampoo that high up? Anyone experience / fix this? If you suggest products, cruelty free options please.
