Hey all, I’ve been riding for about a year and a half on a Yamaha NMAX 125 and done about 5000 miles, and I am about to buy my first geared bike, I don’t plan on upgrading to a higher CC bike in the forseeable future (2-3 years minimum), and can’t decide if It is worth the certainty of buying it new over getting a second hand one with low mileage.

A new engine I can break in my self, and absolutely know it’s not been rev bombed early, or a used bike that will be cheaper but more don’t know if the engine will last.

EDIT: the price of a new bike would be £5000/£5400,
And used would be around £4000
