Separated this year, what happens if the other parent does not complete their tax return?

We were together for about 70% of the year. I have started to claim SPP and FTB. Usually I get a bit back from FTB and CCS due to overestimating our incomes but this does not happen until we have both completed our tax returns.

What happens if he decides to not do his. He has said as much as he does not want to pay child support.

So where does that leave me with my end of year balancing?

Legal U-turn?

Please clarify, is a U-turn at this intersection legal? I see cars do it all the time. I just go the blue route, but that ends with a traffic light wait. The yellow route there is a traffic light in the same spot but it is only red for an active pedestrian crossing or a car waiting on the blue route.

Note - the red cross marks a no U-turn sign. I assume this is for the break in the island that allows cars to turn right from the side street?

So legal U-turn at yellow route, or not?

Edit - QLD. I assumed illegal, but after a recent discussion another person said legal and now we are at odds. No traffic light at intersection the U-turn would be performed at.

Edit II - the comments are showing why my friend and I got ourselves confused in our discussion today.
