Haier Wine Cellar - fails to power on / no control panel display
Hi, i am trying to get some advice troubleshooting our WS171GA Haier Wine cellar which suddenly failed last week. The control panel display on the door does not illuminate and pressing any of the capacitive buttons appear to have no effect. The interior light does come on when the door is opened and goes out when closed. The compressor and fan are not running and and there is no noise emited at all however, the red light on the main control board is illuminated.
The steps taken so far:
- removed power cord from outlet (red light goes out) / try other power sockets etc. no effect.
- Replaced main controller 0074090928A - no effect.
- Inpected and re-seated all connectors, cables to main controller and control panel display.
Could someone please recommend any tips to help narrow down the problem, ive already shelled out $100 for the main controller which did not help and the display controller also costs $100. I hate to find out the problem is the compressor and get stuck with replacement parts and a still broken Wine fridge :(
