On the “Other Income” section of the W4 estimator tool, you can put in how much taxable money you’re taking out of your pre-tax retirement account for the year. I put $36,000 in that field. A bit further down there are several other random “other income” sources like gambling, etc.

But then below that is a field requesting a total of all “Other Income”. The $36,000 is the only “Other Income” I have for this section. Do I put $36,000 in this field as well? It’s not real clear if it is the total of just those other random income items or includes $36,000 I already filled in above?
