Hi guys,
Suddenly during a journey in service temperature, the transmission has stopped sending to the rear wheel. When accelerating, the engine goes up in revs but acts as if it were in neutral. When inserting 1ª or 2ª speed from a standstill, the motorcycle does not move forward, but the engine does not sink.
The gear position sensor works and the instrument panel confirms that the gear is engaged. The only way for the gear to act physically and the motorcycle regains traction is to "pump" (press and release) the clutch lever repeatedly. I have validated the external drive system.
The handle does not present abnormal resistance or hardness in its travel and the free play/action clearance is within the correct tolerances.
Does anyone know what could be happening?
