It's finally happened. We Have Been Chosen.

I was just relaxing in our room, reading, and was suprised by this CDS appointment.

My husband walked into our bedroom with her, handed her to me and said, "She just showed up! It was dark out so I thought she was a chicken at first. But she walked up to me and followed me home."

Apparently, while he was grabbing something from the truck, she just walked up to my husband and was like, "Ok. You can take me home now, you're mine."

After checking around as throughly as possible, he couldn't find out where she might have come from so he brought her inside. She's pretty little but is happily eating kitten food and drinking water. I'm attempting to teach her the litter box.

We're putting up flyers, and posting and checking posts locally. Until then...meet Chicken, aka The Fluffster. Super sweet and cuddly, and totally gorgeous. Vet visit will be in a few days.

I should have known better

Telling my four year old son that he needs to look out for dog poo in the grass at the park was my first mistake. The second was when he looked skeptical so I added, "No, seriously buddy, there are some big dogs that come through here and they leave really big poos. Huge turds! You gotta watch where you're walking."

Next thing I know, I look over from my 5 yr old daughter (who is also on the spectrum) and see son proudly squatting in the grass, ass out. Yep. He wanted to do a huge poo like the big doggies.

Needless to say, we left in a hurry.

I really should know better by now. 🙄😂

The dark side of organ harvesting

I'm convinced that many years from now, healers are going to look back at this era of unaliving people for their organs as a sort of medical Holocaust and be absolutely disgusted, disturbed and appalled by it. They'll talk about it in seminars, reminding people the way they do now regarding the barbarism of bloodletting and lobotomy and anesthesia births, and outside of those seminars, they'll be gossiping in hushed whispers about the bloodthirsty greed and tragedy of it all.

Shame on the medical industry for tolerating, no, 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 this instead of trying to find a way to donate organs 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 people have 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 passed away.

Obviously, there are lots of situations where people have legitimately died and heroically saved other people using organ donation, and they are to be commended and honored for that.

At the same time, that is not an excuse for the evil corruption happening within the organ donation empire. Even if it's only 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 donors that suffer that fate, how is that not just as bad?? How is it considered in any way okay that 𝘢𝘯𝘺 person is treated as a car being sold for its parts???
