Ive purchased a sub for my mk 7.5 golf and heard theres a ground bold in passenger side, or potentially rear drivers side

All cabling done and fed through just need to ground the thing and im trying to avoid drilling straight into the chassis- anyone have any idea

A if theres a live bolt in there

B know how to remove said panels

So after installing active subwoofers on previous cars its been no issue due to being older they had RCA outputs in head units… I have a mk 7.5 golf now where many videos point to going through the glove box head unit which seems sensible.

My question is everyone is taking their signal from the rear left and right speaker when applying the RCA converter - is this right? Would drawing from the front speakers not provide better sound?

For info most are using quick connect crimpers direct from the speakers section of the CD players connector

Thanks
