Complete newbie. Rope question.

I have taken interest in climbing trees. I am having a hard time picturing differences in ropes and there pros / cons.

Can someone dumb down the good and bad of

Kernmantle-

12 - 24 - etc strand double braid.

Is there one that does it all? Do you need a few different types? Ive done tree work. Spur and saddle with a flipline. But it was very much back yard stuff and I know It was not proper gear.

Any help is appreciated. Just having a hard time

Probably a stupid battery question

2017 F350, Lariat, crew cab. 6.7l powerstroke, dually.

I am installing a complete stereo / speaker upgrade and have a question. First let me provide as much information as I can.

- 2x 10" subwoofers 300w rms

- 1x 2ch amp 250w rms @ 1ohm

- 4x 6.5" components 110w rms each

- 2x 3" mids 75w rms each

-1x 4ch amp 75w rms @ 4 ohm for doors

- 1x 2ch amp 75w rms @ 4ohm for mids

I purchased 1/0 ofc cable to run power from engine bay to amp rack behind rear seats.

4 ga to run from distribution blocks to amp.

Now for the stupid question. Should I take power from both batteries under the hood or just one?

Is there any harm in using both?

I just finished sound treatment on the floor and rear wall of cab and also a complete "big 3" with 2/0 on both batteries and each of their alternator.

I'm just starting the wiring for the amps and speakers but was wondering about the batteries. Should I buy a small xs battery and put in behind my rear seats and just run off one battery up front? Or run off both up front? Ive never had a truck with two batteries
