So I’m a bit confused about my PF/EPS situation and wanted to see if anyone else has faced this.
Employer 1 → contributed to both PF and EPS (all good)
Employer 2 → no EPS contribution
Employer 3 (current) → contributing to EPS again
I transferred PF from Employer 1 to Employer 2 successfully.
Then I tried transferring from Employer 2 to Employer 3, but it got rejected due to “EPS contribution mismatch.” I later realized it’s probably because Employer 2 never contributed to EPS.
I tried following up with Employer 2… no response.
Now the weird part — after about 3 months, the PF balance from Employer 2 got auto-transferred to Employer 3 anyway.
So now I’m confused:
If there was an EPS mismatch earlier, how did the transfer suddenly go through?
Will this cause any issues in the future (especially with EPS/pension)?
Anyone experienced something similar?
