Red:
Guarantees survival for each individual voter who selects it.
If Red becomes the plurality:
All Blue, Green, and Purple voters die
Yellow voters are NOT collectively killed by Red
Each Yellow voter still independently faces their normal 20% chance of death (from Yellow’s own mechanic)
Blue:
Ensures survival for everyone only if it achieves a majority.
If Blue does not achieve a plurality, Blue voters risk death.
If Blue becomes the plurality:
Everyone survives, including Purple voters
Yellow:
If Red wins:
Each Yellow vote saves 1 million Blue and Green voters
Each Yellow voter still has a 20% individual chance of death
If Yellow becomes the plurality:
Survival is guaranteed for all
However, 10% of Blue and Green voters die and all Purple voters die
Green:
If Green becomes the plurality:
Survival is guaranteed for everyone except Yellow voters, of whom 15% die
Additionally:
10% of the global population is automatically assigned as Green voters at the start before voting happens
Purple:
Each Purple vote eliminates 0.00000001% of the Controllers enforcing the system (1 billion votes to eliminate the Controllers)
If all Controllers are eliminated:
Everyone survives and the scenario ends This overrides any button pluralites or special effects.
If Controllers are not fully eliminated:
All Purple voters die unless Green or Blue are the plurality
15% of Blue and Green voters die and is added on the 10% from Yellow winning if at least 500 million people don't vote Purple (if Green or Blue aren't plurality)
If 500 million people and over do vote for Purple then 15% is not added on top and the same is true if no one voted Purple
Yellow voters are completely unaffected by Purple
Conditions of the Scenario:
Only individuals aged 18 and older, who are capable of critical thinking, and can understand what the buttons do are required to participate in this scenario.
Tie Condition:
If a tie occurs and one Controller must resolve it, a Controller will randomly choose a button and break the tie.
