I don’t know what make or model my lawnmower is. I bought it like this from my neighbor 5 years ago and now I need a rebuild kit for my carburetor. Google Ai lense says it’s a Poulan Pro but it looks more like a Yard-man.
My lawnmower suddenly stopped working last year. I checked and verified spark and fuel (to the carburetor). I drained the tank of the old fuel, removed and cleaned the carburetor, installed everything and filled it with ethanol free gasoline. It starts up but immediately dies, the choke doesn’t seem to make a difference, it either starts and runs at high RPMs or starts and runs at lower RPMs for a few seconds before dying.
Any suggestions? I’m thinking the carburetor might need a rebuild kit with new jets, but I’m just guessing at this point and thought I might save myself time and money by asking the experts.
