Netflix and T Mobile cancellation
This is an FYI for everyone out there that gets their Netflix through T Mobile. I had the upgraded version and was paying $9 dollars / month. I decided to cancel the service last month early April 2026 (rising cost and lack of use). I did this through the T Mobile app.
Today I noticed through my credit card that I had a recurring bill set up from netflix for $21.39. I called Netflix and challenged them on this and they said I needed to call and cancel with them as well. Because I cancelled with T Mobile they took the liberty to charge my backup payment without clearing it with me. They refused to refund me the money stating I had accessed the account which was done to review my account and find out a contact number.
The take away here is to make sure you cancel with netflix too or you you'll be charged!
