"No."

"What do you mean no, I asked yo-"

"No is a full sentence. Are you right now telling me to do something for a volunteer organization or are you admitting its not one and its required?"

"I just wan-"

"The answer is NO. And it will not change. Talk about something else right now." And then we switched subjects to normal family things.

Remember people, sometimes, you need to just repeat the simple things for them to understand.

I am just happy I wont have to be asked ever again after this week when my Sibling moves in with me, to 100% fully not have to deal with the parentals.
