What the hell happened to all the greaser crews?

Who remembers all the greaser crews walking the malls of the Inland Empire back in the early 2000s?

I can name all the greaser crews that were in my area and after 10 years they were all gone. I grew up in the rockabilly and psychobilly scene and remember these guys use to be everywhere flying their colors and wearing their dickies jackets. Fighting in the parks, at shows, and just walking around car shows. I remember the girl crews use to fight more than the guys. Fun times honestly. My friends and I were in a crew as well.

The only reason I ask this, is because I’m writing a story. I’m graduating from the LAFS in a month and want to interview some of these people about their experiences in other crew and what they’re up to today. Hopefully turn this into a series on YouTube or something.

Anyone remember Black Cat Entertainment?

Was talking about the old psychobilly days about my friends the other day and someone brought up the controversy with BCE. I remember they were like the first people to have allegations against them.

They use to book all types of psychobilly shows in the LA area. Barnyard Ballers, Frantic Flintstones, etc. Mostly at the Knitting Factory.

I heard they use to rob from bands by not paying them what they were promised and something about a 16 year old girl. Supposedly they were a couple that tried to get a threesome together with a 16 year old girl and once it was revealed, they took off.

I’m trying to look for the song Play Dead by the Coffin Draggers but can’t seem to find it anywhere. I haven’t heard that song since MySpace and I’m trying to find it again. Also, anyone know where I can find Zombie Ghost Train except on YouTube?
