S.T.A.L.K.E.R state of mind

Just got the Kobra, and it turns off every 3 minutes, or just doesn’t turn on. Anyone got a fix? I’ve tried 1.5 and 3.6v AA’s to no avail. Paid $100 for the thing with no box or manual

Double stamp krink

PSA Krink. Do we still hate these? I’ve had it for a couple months now and (albeit only about 500 rounds or so) have only had mag related issues. For about a quarter of the price of a real one and about 85% of the experience I don’t think it’s a bad deal

First ‘74

Picked this up from my LGS last week for $650. It’s a ‘91 Bulgy kit put together by Lee Armory on a Childers receiver. Looking online, I can’t find a whole lot of info, so what’s the consensus on these?

Bolt catch question

Put together my first VZ61, and I’m running into an issue. When I attach the upper to the receiver, I can pull the bolt back, pull the trigger, etc. But when I flip it to safe, the bolt catch goes up, and when I take it off safe, it won’t come back down unless I take the upper off and push it down. Did I use the wrong spring or do I need to polish it? Built on a tortort if it matters
