Why won't sellers respond?!
I've been trying to buy a camper for around $10k and am getting dumb responses (if any) from literally every seller I've reached out to.
The conversation goes something like this:
Hi, I'm interested in buying your trailer. I would love to come take a look at it. I'm happy to pay your asking price.
When would be a good time for you to show it?
Do you have the title for it?
Every single person responds with some variation of answering the questions incompletely. For example here are full responses I have received:
"after work"
"I have been using this trailer as art in my yard"
"Will you make an offer?"
"It has a collectors plate"
"Saturday"
When I respond to get some clarification the sellers disappear. The one that I actually got to agree to a day and time to view it ended up marking it as sold literally an hour after we agreed. Then I asked her if she did that because she sold it to someone else or if we were still on for meeting up on x day and she ghosted me. Frustrating! Also why list a trailer and not say whether or not you have the title?? Any advice on how to have better interactions?
