I've been using simFFB for a long time. It works really well for allowing you to trim out control forces but doesn't connect to X-Plane for telemetry.
I've forked it and added X-Plane telemetry: "X-Plane telemetry was added so that control surface position, airspeed, ground, stall warning, gear deflection and vvi are used to derive the stick forces."
Tested only with X-Plane 12.4.2-r2 and the Cessna 172.
If you have a generic FFB stick like the SideWinder 2 you can use this app to get trimming, ground bumps, landing bump and stick shaker. The control forces are proportional to indicated airspeed squared.
Let me know how you get on.
