What’s everyone doing for accessory work?

I’ve started adding more accessory work on weekends and post-WOD. For example, this past Saturday I did 4 rounds for time of 10 power cleans + 10 muscle-ups. Post-WOD, I’ve been adding things like 3x15 GHDs and 3x10 pull-ups.

I like being able to slow down, focus on technique, and still get a good workout in.

I know my weak areas, but I’m curious what everyone else is doing. What are your favorite accessory workouts, what movements are you targeting, and what sets/reps are you using?

[Recruiting] bang bros | #PU29JJL9 | Required TH/8+ | Clan Level 22 | War/Raids | Independent

New leader taking over a level 22 clan! We had an inactive period so we had a drop in leagues. Just looking for some clashers to help gain some momentum. No BS, no gimmicks, no try hard just a chill clan trying to rebuild and if we get competitive then great!

P.s. I’ve already dealt with some scammers begging to be co leaders and try and scam me that route so please none of that.

Seeking Workout Advice

I’ve been doing CrossFit for about two years, but I still consider myself a beginner. I’m comfortable jumping into a workout and knowing how to scale movements and weights, but I’m looking for a better way to build my skills outside of regular classes.

I’d like to find a way to get quality workout in that isn’t focused on being for time, an EMOM, or just chasing intensity. Something that allows me to slow down, focus on technique, build strength, and track my progress.

I don’t have the ability to spend hours before or after class at the gym, but I usually have more free time on weekends.

For those who have added extra training outside of CrossFit classes, what has worked well for you? Did you follow a program, focus on specific skills/lifts, or just build your own accessory work?

For example, not all inclusive…I want to work on handstand pushups, power snatches, overhead squats, kipping pull ups.

Hello!

I’m relatively new and looking for an app that can track both workouts and lifting progress. Ideally, I’d like to be able to search a movement like “deadlift” and see my full history for that lift, including the weight, reps, and the workout/WOD it was part of.

A built-in WOD tracker would be a bonus, but my main goal is being able to look back at previous performances so I can better adjust weights and scaling for whatever the workout is that day.

Thank y’all!
