I have an 09 1500 with some frame damage on it towards the rear of the frame rails (think underneath where the body and bed meet) and I have access to a lift to do work on it. I see in my repair manual i can use the rear axle to jack the truck up. Could I also use the rear axle as a lift point so as long as I use the solid parts of my frame up front as my lift points also? Sorry it’s if a stupid question, I’m still learning trucks to an extent. Any advice is appreciated!!
