I don’t understand the timeline of the show.
(English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes, I’ll try to make this easy to understand)
I’ve been watching the show for years, but I was merely a casual watcher, so I never really payed attention to the timeline of the show (I kind of assumed a few years had passed). Recently, I saw a creator talking about how s1-s8 happened in the span of 20 months (so less than two years), and I was just wondering if that was canon, because I truly don’t see how that makes sense ?
That would mean that when Carl dies, he would’ve been 13-14, but if I remember well, Lori was in the early stages of pregnancy by the end of season 2 and gave birth early season 3 (so around 7-8 months have passed). This means that Judith would’ve been around 10-12 months when he died, but that can’t be right ?
I’m not really the best at guessing children’s ages, but she looked about 2-3 years old when he died, definitely not less than 1.
Anyways, I was just wondering if perhaps the timeline isn’t truly set in stone and it’s kinda just fan-speculations or if I’m just thinking too much into it.
