I know that as the slower car I have the right for the racing line, but sometimes they approach really fast & try to cut me off quickly, even through super fast kinks so I'm trying to be as predictable as possible, did that make me less safe or were they just really impatient? What should I do in these situations?
Incident 1: I was trying to set up Blanchimont but I saw a Hypercar coming so I was sticking to my line on the inside, it looks like he was trying to go there too so I was trying to move out, but he moved right too.
Incident 2 (0:38): Mid Pouhun, I was taking my normal line through the corner but the Hyper behind me was NOT stopping, so I was trying to just stick to the middle, I feel like I did keep my line but the second guy smashed into me and blamed me for "moving around"
I really have no idea what else could I have done better in this case, If I'd have just taken the corner normally and go to the outside, it looked like they'd have definitely crashed into me
What should I have done here? Or were they just very impatient?
Again, I know have the right for the racing line, especially mid corners, but what would you have done if you've felt like they were 100% going to crash into you? I know that me moving a bit just before both collisions is technically "unpredictable", but it really looked like they were about to ram me - and they did 😞
Thanks in advance
And if those people involved see this and I was indeed in the wrong - I'm really sorry, I'm learning and will do better, promise!
IMPORTANT EDIT - Nevermind, the first Hypercar in the second incident being in the middle shows he was indeed planning to go there, while expecting me to go to the outside - I've learned from that to not be afraid of the faster cars and just stick to my line, thanks to everyone that took their time to watch & comment.
