Stalling/Very Slow Growth (Uncle Ben’s)

Thank you everyone for your help incredible help along the way. I’ve enjoyed this process, albeit frustrating at times, way more than I’ve expected.

3 weeks ago, I inoculated some Aldi Uncle Ben’s with Golden Teacher LC. Some of the bags did nothing, but a few quickly took off. I did a break and shake for a few of the bags that showed growth, but didn’t touch the others.

Still seeing no growth with the non-B&S bags, I decided to throw away one of the bags. Before throwing it out, I cut it open just to take a look, and I found some mycelium growth. It was really fuzzy, which tells me that I need more FAE(?). I’m thinking about cutting off the other corner of the bag and covering it with micropore tape in order to try to help. Has anyone tried this? Would it help?

As far as the B&S bags go, I’ve seen absolutely now bounce back, no growth whatsoever. I’m not really sure what to do here.

Any recommendations? I keep the bags in 75 degrees with about 50% humidity. I’m wondering if it’s genetics? My AIO bag that I also used this syringe with pinned about 12 days ago, but the fruits are coming in veeery slowly.

Hello everyone,

I’m using a Zombie Myco AIO bag. I did a break and shake 19 days ago, and it seems to have stalled. Immediately following the break and shake, I saw rapid colonization, but for the past 10 days or so, growth has been fairly nonexistent. The Zombie Myco directions state to wait until there’s 100% colonization, but does that include the substrate? I see AIO bags moved into fruiting that look similar to mine all the time, so I’m not sure what to do here.

Edit: inoculated with GT, space heater set to 77 degrees.

Should I wait, fruit, second break and shake?
