Hi All.
I've tried my best to detail the images for an understanding of this bathroom pipe system.
I'm renovating my upstairs bathroom and trying to gain a general understanding of the bizarre piping system.
1930 house bathroom with previous water loft tank and water boiler. Both have been removed by previous owner.
Where the water loft tank used to be, there is a maze of pipes which is fed by a mains lead pipe from the corner (pictured). This feeds the toilet and the cold water for the sink and bath tub.
My questions are...
What are those pipes exactly (in the first photo)?
Will I find a cold mains pipe in there or anywhere in this bathroom?
Lastly, why does this toilet still flush after isolating the water supply from inside the house? It's not left over water, believe me, it's flushed 15 times and still has a water supply.
Thank you in advance
