Kroot Diorama
Decided to start a little diorama piece since I had a spare box of farstalkers and they’re just begging to be used for something like this! Managed to put this together in a couple of hours now onto the painting!

3 colour challenge winged tyranid prime
This is a model I’ve wanted to paint up for a long time now, and last night with a bit of spur of the moment motivation I decided to make a start. Decided to challenge myself to 3 colours only (plus a little black and white but not as much as I thought I’d need)

Update on the lonespear
Decided today to completely change the colours of the rider to give it more of a jungle hunter look, picture quality isn’t great due to the terrible lighting where I am but what do you guys think of the overall scheme?

Has anyone built farstalkers as carnivores?
I’ve recently got the combat patrol but I already had a set of farstalkers from a while back. I’m wondering if there’s any point building another squad of farstalkers or if I should make them into fancy carnivores, then when I buy another combat patrol I’ll have 20 fancy carnivores and eventually I can get some actual carnivores to mix into the squads

I spent way too long on these guys to still not be finished!
Half the job is locating all the little buckles and leather straps! I love painting these guys but it’s also driving me slowly insane, anyone else feel this pain? 😂

Getting back into the hobby after a 2 year hiatus
Getting back into 40K for 11th edition and decided to pick up some Kroot! Started with the lonespear as it’s such a beautiful model and I’ve limited myself to 7 colours and a wet pallet (mainly because this hobby is expensive! 😅)
He’s not finished yet, but it’s about 80% of the way there, what do you guys think?
