Last name is spelt Huehn - I am a Canadian whose family immigrated around the 1850s. At family reunions half of my family (my parents included) pronounce it “heen”. The other half pronounce it “hue-n”. Now I’m researching and seeing it might just be “hoon” - based on the spelling probably being an anglicisation of Hühn.

Curious what native Germans think.
