I have a question and I've not been able to find a whole lot of info online. I am disabled and I am on Social Security/Disability (Autism BPD ADD ODD ADHD among other things). I am 27 and don't have a driver's license, I am relying on my aging grandmother for transportation but that will not last forever. I want to get my driver's license but I guess my concern is would that affect my social security/disability? I know this is probably a dumb question but it's something that I genuinely worry about so I wanted to see if anyone knew the answer.
A good friend of mine's girlfriend got a driver's license and in the same year got booted from SSDI. I assume that's just a coincidence but it's something that in the back of my mind I'm kind of worried about and wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it. I appreciate your guys's time.
