Looking at both as a new car. Sport seems like a more appropriate choice for majority of our driving, but Wilderness has several features standard that really appeal to us (seat material, small lift, transmission cooler, etc.) - we have hot hot hot summers and cold cold cold winters with a good chance of at least 2-3 major snow/ice storms each year. The cooler alone seems like it would at least be a minor reliability upgrade?

Wilderness would also enable us to take advantage of those rare chances we might get to take a road trip somewhere like a national park or go camping somewhere out of town. That said, can’t imagine we’d use it on anything crazier than fire service roads. We don’t need space for anything but ourselves and our dogs. Most of our drives are under 5-6 miles, longer ones under 20.

If we can find a good deal, leaning towards Wilderness but curious if others with the Sport have found it suitable for that type of driving/those use cases
