I recently purchased my ZX4R and am considering changing the exhaust for aesthetic reasons. I prefer a barely visible exhaust, similar to the ones on the latest CBR650R or Yamaha R9, which are low and short. Are there any other options available? I would prefer a slip-on exhaust because I only care about the look and assume that a full system would make the bike much louder. If a full system is necessary, is there a way to reduce the volume? The OEM exhaust is already quite loud, and I’m concerned about the noise level.
