Hey anglers,

I am wanting to up my game with pike/muskie fishing and would like some good pointers where to start in terms of lb braided line and rod for a C4 6600 setup where I can use the same setup for pike and muskie.

This reel was given as a gift from my wife and I intend to utilize it. The only available rod I have available sitting in the closet is a fenwick hmx 9'6" 10-30 line rating, I believe it's a salmon/steelhead rod also given to me years ago and never used it but feel it's way to light for what I need.
