Hello everyone.
Ive been feeling rotten for about 2 years now. All the standard low T symptoms. Im 36 yo male. Physically active, gym 3 times a week, casual football and work with a lot of walking. However I am a shift worker. (In the process of looking for a days only job).
Im about to start my TRT journey. Had my first blood tests done and currently awaiting consultation. Just need some insight from people that maybe were in similar position.
My first Test results came back at
Free 8.2
Total 240
Second more comprehensive panel attached to the post. My TSH is well off together with Prolactin. I understand it can be raised due to poor sleep, hypothyroidism or prolactinoma. LH is high/normal meaning my body is still signalling to produce test but high prolactin is supressing it or my testies are chopped liver?
All other bloods results are remarkable (heart, liver, kidneys)
Questions are:
Should I start TRT and see how I feel?
Should I start treating low T with the clinic together with Hypothyroidism?
Should I try to fix thyroid first before getting on TRT? (Ive had multiple tsh tests in past 2 years and they were all between 3.5 -4.5, felt awful back then as well)
Can Hypothyroidism actually shoot prolactin that high or should I ask them for a referral to get an MRI done?
Happy to provide more details if needed.
Thanks everyone!
